Are you a seasoned program manager with a strong commitment to trauma-informed, feminist practice?
/n
We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, community-based women's health organisation, based in North Wollongong and Warilla. They are seeking an experienced Program Manager – Mental Health and DFSV to lead and grow its dynamic DFSV, mental health and wellbeing programs.
/n
About the Opportunity:
/n
This organisation has a long-standing reputation for delivering holistic and inclusive health services tailored to the needs of women across the Illawarra. The team is passionate about community impact, and they are looking for a leader who shares their values to oversee a wide portfolio of therapeutic programs—including counselling, case management, crisis intervention and community programs.
/n
As Program Manager, you will report to the General Manager and play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and sustainability of trauma-informed programs that support women experiencing domestic and family violence, mental health challenges, and complex life circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:
/n
/n
- Lead strategic and operational delivery of a diverse range of therapeutic services.
/n
- Provide clinical leadership, risk oversight, and service quality assurance.
/n
- Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
/n
- Drive DFSV and mental health program innovation, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice.
/n
- Foster partnerships with community stakeholders to support holistic care.
/n
- Contribute to training and fee-for-service program development.
/n/n
What You Bring:
/n
/n
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, counselling, social work or related field.
/n
- Experience in program management and clinical leadership, within DFSV services.
/n
- Strong clinical skills, particularly in trauma, domestic/family violence, and mental health.
/n
- Deep understanding of feminist principles and gender-informed care.
/n
- Experience working with diverse communities and marginalised groups.
/n
- Excellent team leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
/n
- Training in the Safe and Together Model.
/n
- Experience in a feminist or not-for-profit environment.
/n
- Fluency in a language other than English.
/n/n
