When you are a capable senior project manager, it can become challenging when you don't have access to deep technical support to move projects forward. At AGE, Senior Hydrogeologists are backed by a trusted specialist team to make sound, defensible decisions with confidence.

You will run groundwater projects end to end. You will scope the work, prepare proposals, manage budgets and timelines, and coordinate the technical team. You work directly with clients and regulators, interpret monitoring and modelling results, and produce reports that stand up to regulatory scrutiny.

Senior technical reviewers support quality, but the project and the client relationship sit with you. When specialist input is needed for complex investigations, you draw on AGE's national bench rather than carrying the burden alone.

You do not need to sit in Brisbane to do this. If you are a capable Senior Hydrogeologist, we can support you being based anywhere in Australia

The Role

/n

You will lead groundwater investigations and technical studies across mining, renewables, pumped hydro energy storage, tunnelling and major infrastructure projects. You will scope investigations, prepare proposals, and manage projects from initial study through to final reporting.
This includes guiding field investigations, managing budgets and timelines, and maintaining direct communication with clients and regulators. A key part of the role is translating complex hydrogeological data into clear, defensible reports that support regulatory approvals,



compliance obligations and operational water management decisions.
You do not need to be a specialist modeller for this role. What matters most is robust conceptual hydrogeology and the ability to interpret modelling outputs and integrate them into the broader understanding of the groundwater system. That said, if you enjoy modelling, at AGE, this is not reserved for a select few.

- Groundwater consulting experience

- Clear, structured technical report writing

- Familiarity with QLD and NSW water and mining regulations

/n

- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science or a related field; postgraduate qualifications in hydrogeology are highly regarded
