ISS is looking for an experienced Electrician & Air Conditioning Technician to join our camp maintenance team supporting a growing project site located between Rockhampton and Gladstone.

This is a hands‐on role suited to a trade‐qualified professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in high‐quality workmanship, and wants to be part of a supportive team delivering essential services in a unique site environment.

With a 7:7 FIFO roster from Brisbane, a strong team culture, and the opportunity to work across a site that operates much like a small remote town, this role offers genuine variety, autonomy and the chance to make a visible impact every day.

The Opportunity

/n

In this position, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, inspection and repair of village and camp infrastructure, with a strong focus on electrical, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

/n

Your responsibilities will include:

/n

/n

- Village and camp electrical maintenance

/n

- Air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance

/n

- Preventative and reactive maintenance across site

/n

- Routine inspections of premises and equipment, including Power, Water, Sewer, Gas, Fire systems, Communications, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Systems

/n

- Fault finding, diagnostics and refurbishment works

/n

- General repairs and maintenance across camp facilities

/n

- Completing reports and safety documentation

/n

- Supporting the operation of a remote site environment with infrastructure similar to a small town

/n/n

This is a role for someone who can work with minimal supervision, think on their feet, and maintain high standards in a challenging and diverse environment.

About You

/n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

/n

/n





- Current QLD Electrical Unrestricted Licence

/n

- Ability and willingness to be nominated as a Qualified Technical Person (QTP) under the existing ISS QLD Electrical Contractor Licence

/n

- Current LVR/CPR

/n

- Current QBCC Mechanical Services – Air‐conditioning and Refrigeration Occupational Licence, or qualifications that meet QBCC requirements

/n

- Ability and willingness to be added as a nominee to the ISS QBCC contractor licence for Mechanical Services – Air‐conditioning and Refrigeration

/n

- White Card

/n

- First Aid Certificate

/n/n

Strong candidates will present with these desirable skills and experience:

/n

/n

- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration – Highly desirable

/n

- Current RAC01 Refrigerant Handling Licence (RHL) – Highly desirable

/n

- Minimum 2 years' experience in facilities maintenance and commercial electrical, highly desirable

/n

- Experience in camp construction or camp maintenance, preferred

/n

- Working at Heights, preferred but not essential

/n/n
