Fellow - Pain Management
Thisis a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6or 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).
Suitableapplicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may bemade when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be madefrom this pool until 31/12/2026. Appointments for thisposition will not commence until 2027.
Salary:MP Year 1-2 $188,817 - $198,142 p.a. (plus 12% superannuation and professional development allowance)
Position Profile: This position has been designed for Pain Medicine trainees in the Professional Development Year of the Faculty of Pain Medicine Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FPMANZCA) to consolidate their knowledge inpreparation for practicing as a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician. There is a focus on further strengthening skills in Interventional Pain Medicine, collaborative multi-disciplinary management ofcomplex quaternary pain patients, co-ordinating and leading themulti-disciplinary team and providing teaching opportunities forjunior medical staff.
It is a full-time position at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Pain Management Unit.
