DIRECTOR / CO-ORDINATOR - COOLABAROO NEIGHBOURHOOD CENTRE LEADERSHIP TEAM

Have you been a Director, 2IC, Coordinator or are highly skilled administratively, Qualified Educator?

Require Full-time or Part-time with, Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care, management skills, management of staff and can use the IT platform OWNA.

THIS POSITION

/n

Reporting to the CEO of Moorditch Gurlongga Association Inc. The Leadership Team Director/Co-ordinator is responsible for the effective management and oversight of the day-to-day operations with other Leadership Team Co-ordinators and Consultants for Coolabaroo Neighbourhood Centre, its staff and related activities and resources.

/n

The aim of the position is to effectively manage all activities within the service in a culturally safe, effective and efficient manner. A major facet of the role will also include the provision of guidance and consistent professional support to educators in providing professional, culturally appropriate and protected care to children and their families.

/n

Critical to the role will be to ensure staff maintain adherence to Coolabaroo Neighbourhood Centre policies and procedures, Child Care Services Act 2007,



Child Care Regulations 2006 and working towards the development and implementation of the, National Regulations, Law and the National Quality Standards.

/n

Director / Coordinator- Leadership Team (Qualified Educator), you are expected to work as part of a team with other Leadership Team Co-ordinators. Always striving to inspire, lead, mentor, support and improve the Centre's Team by, providing high quality early childhood education and care, with Aboriginal culture and language embedded into the curriculum daily.

Ensure all administrative tasks are of a high standard and completed daily. Have experience with managing staff.

General Responsibilities

/n

To work towards the requirements of the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Bill 2010, Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care 2012;

/n

Supporting and mentoring of staff.

/n

Able to use and establish OWNA system.

/n

Management of staff.

/n

Working in accordance with the Code of Ethics of Coolabaroo Neighbourhood Centre. Implementing the service's philosophy in undertaking all other duties;

/n

Working in accordance with the policies and associated procedures of the organisation; and

/n

Provide ongoing support and assistance to the other staff in all areas of service operation.

/n

Working with Aboriginal families.

/n

The MGA team all support the day to day operations of CNC, CHS, CCS and CS

/n

Qualifications and experience required with position, also Working with Children Card, National Police Clearance, Health Clearance and a valid driver's licence.

/n

Positions are paid under the Children's Services Award 2010,

/n
