This position is afull-time,fixed term role until Friday 28 January 2028 in the People and Safety team, based at Moruya. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality payroll service and accurate data collection as part of the People and Safety team.

The starting salary for this position is $81,151.04 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.

About you

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and detail-oriented payroll professional with experience in payroll administration and the application of Awards and industrial employment conditions. You have strong administrative and record-keeping skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy setting, and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.

As a collaborative team player, you thrive in high-pressure settings and build positive relationships with employees and external stakeholders through your excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are confident using Microsoft Office and have experience working with Human Resource Management platforms, including running and interpreting reports to support payroll and workforce activities. Previous experience with TechnologyOne would be an added bonus, but is not essential.

Eligibility and compliance

As part of our recruitment process, you may be asked to provide contact details for two work-related referees. These will be collected at the interview stage. At least one referee should be your current supervisor or a recent past supervisor (of at least three months).

Depending on the position, successful applicants may also be required to complete a Criminal History Check, Medical Assessment and/or a Working with Children Check.
