About the role:The Project Implementation Manager will work within the Integrated Workforce Management Program (IWFM). The IWFM Program is a key strategic initiative for Queensland Health that will enhance the roster-to-pay process, deliver positive outcomes to support enhanced workforce management and drive the delivery of tangible benefits for both Hospital and Health Services (HHS) and the Department of Health, through improved tools, processes, and access to workforce decision-support information where and when it is needed.As a Project Implementation Manager, you will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary project team to effectively deliver the implementation of the IWFM electronic rostering solution for predominantly nurses and midwives across multiple Queensland Health sites.Intrastate travel is a requirement of this role. The home base for this position will be Bowen Hills, Brisbane, unless otherwise advertised or agreed upon. As part of the IWFM Program, travel arrangements are often referred to as 'assignments', where you may be temporarily assigned to a specific Hospital and Health Service (HHS) for the duration of the project, which may be intra-state or Brisbane-based. This will typically require on-site presence at the assigned HHS for most of the working week.Your key responsibilities include:Manage the successful delivery of ICT enabled business change in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies.Provide leadership and assume responsibility the implementation of the core IWFM Program plan and overarching statewide rollout plan.Implement and manage appropriate IWFM Program governance, investment and project management which is aligned with the Department's PMO framework.Work collaboratively with internal IWFM stakeholders, such as Change Management Specialists and solution specialists, to ensure local change and engagement activities and solution requirements are facilitated in accordance with IWFM methodology and approach.Develop project plans and apply appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools,
including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.Proactively monitor, control and report on local implementation trends and performance against project plans, deliverables and schedules.Facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.Role fit:You will bring extensive experience delivering complex ICT-enabled business change projects, with strong expertise in project management methodologies, tools and best-practice approaches. You will be a capable leader, able to build and lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams while fostering productive stakeholder relationships across diverse and often remote environments.
