We are seeking a motivated
Accounting Intern
to join a professional accounting firm in Sydney. This internship provides hands-on experience across accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, payroll, and financial reporting while helping you develop practical skills in an Australian business workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting tasks
Support the preparation of financial statements and working papers
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Assist with BAS, GST, and payroll processing
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist with general finance and administrative duties
Skills & Qualifications
Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field




Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks is advantageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
