You'll only need to drop in to replenish supplies or attend face-to-face training sessions at the Launceston office, giving you the flexibility to focus on what matters most: your clients.About the positionThe District Nurses (TDN) is a long-standing Tasmanian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping people live and age well in their own homes for as long as possible.As a Community Support Worker, you will support our clients by:Providing support with personal care tasks such as bathing, showering, washing, dressing and groomingOffering companionship and social engagement to reduce isolation and build positive connectionsComplete accompanied grocery shopping and other appropriate errands as neededPerform general household tasks including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and moppingSupport clients with washing, drying, ironing,



and folding clothes and linenAssist with meal preparation and light kitchen dutiesAbout youA genuine passion for supporting people in the communityA commitment to empowering clients' choice, dignity and independenceA client-centred approach to careBasic technology skills (e.g. smartphone or tablet use)The physical capacity to perform a hands-on roleStrong interpersonal and communication skillsEssential requirementsCertificate III in Individual Support (Ageing or Home & Community)A valid unrestricted driver licence and a registered, insured, roadworthy vehicleNational Police CheckWorking with Vulnerable People Check (employee) with NDIS endorsementCurrent First Aid & CPR CertificatesMedication endorsement (highly desirable)Why join TDN?
