With an immediate vacancy in Perth andthe possibility of future vacancies acrossAdelaide,Brisbane,Canberra,Melbourne,orSydney, this hybrid, full-time opportunityis available on an ongoing basis within the Member Servicessection.

Remuneration: The annual salary range for the position isAPS4,$79,501–$86,318p.a., plus a generousemployer superannuation contribution of15.4%.

About theopportunity

As a Member SupportOfficer–Legal, you will play a key role in supportingTribunal Members and Deputy Presidents byprovidingparalegal,high-quality administrative and casemanagement support that contributes to the efficient progression ofTribunal reviews.

You will work closely with a range ofinternal and external stakeholders, ensuring matters are managedeffectively and proceedings run smoothly. Youwillassistwith hearing preparation, provide in-hearingsupport whenrequired, and contribute to the delivery ofhigh-quality services.

This is a fantasticopportunityto undertake supervisedPractical LegalTraining (PLT) workplacementand progressyourcareer.

To be successful youwillhave:

- Knowledge ofthe operations,jurisdiction, practices and proceduresof theTribunal, or an ability toquicklyacquirethat knowledge, and an ability toapply that knowledge when working on cases and liaisingwith internal and externalstakeholders.

- Highlydeveloped organisational skills, including an ability tomanage priorities and workloads, deal with conflictingdemands, meet deadlines with limited supervision, and usecase management systems.





- Strongwritten and verbal communication and interpersonal skills,including the ability to communicate clearly, accurately,and respectfully with diverse internal and externalstakeholders.

- Demonstratesound judgement, use initiative, develop new skills, andaccept responsibility for personal development,productivity and adherence to policy andprocedures.

- Well-developed research skillstofacilitategeneral online research, legalresearch and research on government policies andprocedures.

Qualifications

Essential:

- Completed,orsubstantially completed, recognised degree inLaws.
