Lead Engineering Operations across Two Premium Commercial Towers

We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee a prestigious commercial office precinct in the heart of Melbourne CBD, comprising two Premium Grade office towers.

Reporting to the General Manager and supported by a team of two facilities professionals, you will be responsible for the strategic management, operational performance and continuous improvement of all engineering services across the precinct.

What you'll be doing

- Lead all engineering and building services operations across the precinct.
- Manage critical building systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, lifts, BMS and security systems.
- Develop and deliver CAPEX plans, asset lifecycle strategies and building improvement initiatives.
- Manage operating budgets and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Oversee capital works projects and contractor performance.
- Drive compliance, risk management and workplace safety outcomes.
- Improve asset performance through energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead NABERS performance management, reporting and continuous improvement programs.
- Mentor and develop a facilities team while building strong client and stakeholder relationships.

What you'll bring

- 5+ years' experience in Engineering or Facilities Management within A Grade or Premium Grade commercial assets.
- Robust technical background in Mechanical or Electrical building services.
- Demonstrated experience managing CAPEX programs,



plant lifecycle planning and major asset upgrades.
- Experience delivering strong NABERS Energy ratings and sustainability outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of building services, maintenance management, compliance and contractor management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, coach and develop teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
