Young Engineers Newcastle & Maitland is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and engaging STEM Instructor to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with children and have a passion for inspiring the next generation, we'd love to hear from you!
About the Role
As a STEM Instructor, you'll deliver fun, hands-on after-school LEGO® engineering classes for primary school students (Kindergarten to Year 6). You'll follow our structured lesson plans while creating an exciting learning environment where students develop creativity, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging after-school STEM classes.
Set up and pack down LEGO® engineering equipment.
Encourage students to think creatively and work collaboratively.
Follow structured lesson plans and maintain a secure, positive learning workplace.
What We're Looking For
Enjoy working with children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transport.
Current NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one before commencing).
Reliable,



enthusiastic and punctual.
No teaching or engineering experience is required
—full training and all lesson resources are provided.
