Claims Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Claims Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management and category activity across Personal Injury, Fraud and Intelligence, and Recoveries Claims.

You will work closely with Procurement Operations, internal customers and suppliers to improve value, governance and commercial outcomes across complex supplier arrangements.

This role manages two direct reports and gives you strong exposure to senior stakeholders, suppliers and high value contracts. You will have the opportunity to make a visible impact while working in a supportive environment that values balance, collaboration and clear outcomes.

What You’ll Do

- Lead strategic sourcing activity across Claims Procurement, including category planning, supplier strategies, sourcing events and contract management. Your work will help improve value, governance and commercial outcomes.
- Partner with internal customers, Procurement Operations and suppliers to support quality, cost effectiveness and efficiency across Claims Procurement and broader category teams.
- Negotiate and manage major commercial agreements, including contract extensions, variations, terminations and supplier dispute resolution.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for key spend areas, with a focus on savings, supplier value, risk management and long-term business outcomes.
- Lead reporting,



governance and improvement activity to support proactive contract management, sourcing visibility and early engagement across Claims.
- Manage resources, support two direct reports and contribute to a team culture where people can learn, deliver and share success.

What You’ll Bring

- At least 5 to 10 years of procurement experience, ideally including strategic sourcing, supplier management and category procurement across goods or services.
- Experience in insurance procurement is highly desirable, particularly within Claims or a related corporate procurement setting.
- Experience working in a corporate or large organisational environment with complex stakeholders, governance requirements and commercial processes.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to deliver quality outcomes within explicit frameworks, timelines and stakeholder expectations.
- Commercial judgement and analytical capability, with experience reviewing procurement spend, identifying value opportunities and delivering measurable results.
- Leadership or resource management experience, with the ability to guide team members, build relationships and support collaborative supplier outcomes.
