At Dentalcare Mt Barker , we're looking for an enthusiastic Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our welcoming team on a part-time basis. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining chairside assisting with front desk reception duties.

You’ll play an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients while supporting our clinicians to deliver exceptional care.

Job Description

- Assisting dentists with a variety of clinical procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining infection control standards
- Sterilising instruments and managing clinical stock
- Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries
- Booking and managing appointments
- Processing payments and health fund claims
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Working closely with the team to ensure the practice runs smoothly

Qualifications

- Has previous Dental Assistant and/or Dental Reception experience (preferred)
- Is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and customer service




- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is organised, reliable and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Has a positive attitude and is happy to help wherever needed
