Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapists to join our acute inpatient team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses:
- Northern Hospital Epping
- Broadmeadows Hospital
- Bundoora Centre
- Craigieburn
- Mernda Community Hospitals
- Kilmore District Hospital
In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 1 or 2 Occupational Therapist to join our team at Northern Health. The role involves working in a quick-paced acute hospital setting that provides a high-level clinical service to a variety of acute inpatients.
Based predominately on the acute general medical wards, you will work collaboratively with the wider multi-disciplinary team to facilitate dynamic discharge plans that are patient centred care and support access and flow throughout the health service.
This is a full-time fixed term (maternity leave) position until 29 January 2027 and is based at our Epping Campus.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Clinical experience within an inpatient setting
- Proven ability to work autonomously and excel within a multidisciplinary team
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy a fast paced environment
- Posess a commitment to lifelong learning
