About the Role
This is a dual role.
A typical day involves:
Preparing food and drink.
Cleaning (including dishes) and maintaining a sparkling hygienic workplace.
Changing up the menu and working with the team and residents to create meals that cater to each individual.
Keeping records as part of the Food Safety Program.
Implementing and managing a hygiene maintenance system, including auditing and site inspections, to support operational excellence.
Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming home for residents.
Being a positive, warm, empathetic team player with a can‐do attitude.
Keeping excellent attention to detail in health and hygiene standards and complying with Work, Health and Safety principles.
Remaining on feet all day and demonstrating strong organisational skills.
Qualifications and requirements:
Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.
Solid attention to detail and commitment to health and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a team and communicate with residents.
Experience carrying out hygiene audits and inspections.
