Heavy Construction equipment dealer in Richmond, CA seeking experienced heavy equipment diesel mechanics for field service. We are a small family-owned, non-union company with a big-company compensation and benefits package! We have locations throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Washington. We are growing and very busy so OT is a must.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Service customer equipment in shop or at customer's jobsite
Capable of completing jobs at or under manufacturer's published flat rate repair times
Ability to plan work and complete route maintenance services without supervision
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
Must be able to work under pressure independently and as a team player

499 Edison Court, Fairfield, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience
Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
Willingness to travel
25% (Preferred)

Qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment
Equipment dealership background ideal
Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted
Welding experience
Hydraulic & electrical experience
Mid-level diagnostic ability
Ability to do repairs such as welding, R & R of major components such as axles, engines, and transmissions
Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as hammers and shears
Engine certifications a plus
Ability to understand instructions, written and verbal
Possess a clean and valid Class B driver's license, recent K4 printout required
Must be detail oriented
Ability to multi-task
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
