Position Summary:
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will be accountable for a designated territory for both account management and current sales growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop positive working relationships with stakeholders (customers and Signode personnel)
Within customer base, develop relationships at multiple levels within the business, including production, maintenance, purchasing etc.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of the customers' operations; machine output potential, unplanned down time, production bottlenecks and record this information in order to evaluate potential projects
Use information gathered to evaluate sales, develop into actual projects and sales of tools, equipment, and consumables
Report activity and relevant information on a weekly basis in prescribed format
Gather details and report on competitor activity and pricing strategies




Ensure that Signode is upholding high customer service levels, work with other departments (purchasing, logistics, finance, engineering, maintenance & service) to maintain valuable service.
Other tasks will be required to be performed to maintain customer service levels and to support other departments within the business as they may arise.
Account Management - Effective account management to ensure revenues and margins are maintained within current Signode customers in nominated territory.
Business Development and recent business growth - Implementation of appropriate business development strategies (into either current or new customers) to ensure the desired revenue / margin growth is achieved within the nominated territory.
