Our client is an established player in the maintenance & construction industry who are known for their high-quality building services including cleaning, remedial, construction, maintenance, etc. They are now seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their exciting and growing business unit of high-rise commercial window and façade cleaning in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Façade Care Manager, this role will involve overseeing and management of the team, preparing and coordinating jobs to Australian Standards & Regulations, implementing OHS, administration, client liaison, assisting with tenders/pricing and site visits.
Previous experience managing operations in either the cleaning industry or a related or parallel industry is desirable. Candidate doesn’t need to come from the cleaning or height access industry although that experience is also desirable. Need to manage up to 30 to 35 height access staff on BMUs and rope access.
Office based role with travel to sites across Melbourne and hours are roughly 6:30am to 3:30pm.
The ideal candidate:
- Oversee daily supervision and management of team
- Job coordination & administration
- Strong contract management
- Understand and implement OHS requirements & internal policies
- Assist with commercial aspects (tenders, pricing, strategies)
- Excellent customer service and ability to liaise with clients
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, hands-on approach
- Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
