After building robust momentum over the past decade, our business is entering a new phase of growth. As part of this, we are strengthening our Facilities & Maintenance team and creating opportunities for driven professionals to step up and make their mark.

We’re excited to introduce additional capacity within the team, including an opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator . If you’re looking to contribute meaningfully, take ownership of your work, and grow alongside a business on the rise — this is your moment.

This role is ideally suited to candidates coming from a maintenance & property-focused background. We are particularly interested in professionals who have worked within property management, body corporate / strata management, facilities management, maintenance coordination, construction, defects coordination, residential development, caretaking, or community living environments.

If you've built your career coordinating contractors, managing maintenance works, overseeing property assets, supporting property portfolios, or delivering outcomes across multiple stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

The Maintenance Coordinator plays a critical role in the end‑to‑end management and progression of maintenance activities across the portfolio.

This is not a general administration position. Success in this role comes from understanding the realities of property and maintenance operations, including contractor management, maintenance prioritisation, stakeholder communication, compliance considerations, and the coordination of works across multiple sites and assets.

You will be responsible for ensuring work is triaged, prioritised, and delivered efficiently , maintaining full visibility, accountability,

and control of each job from initial request through to completion. Communication is key, proactive approach to everything we do!

This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where ownership, judgement, and follow‑through are key.

Hybrid role with one allocated work‑from‑home day per week following the onboarding period. Office days are based across our Richlands office and HQ in Fortitude Valley, with designated days at each location and regular time spent across sites as required.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

- Career progression and development opportunities as our business continues to grow
- Competitive salary package, negotiable for the right candidate
- Be part of a team that values wellbeing, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with our Caretaking team, Caretaking leadership, and Warranties team , supporting delivery across a growing portfolio
- This role suits someone who enjoys owning outcomes, not just coordinating tasks

Key Responsibilities

- Manage a consistent volume of maintenance tasks and competing priorities with strong organisation and follow‑up
- Proactively triage, prioritise, and progress maintenance issues using sound judgement and practical problem solving
- Build and manage day‑to‑day contractor relationships to support timely and high‑quality completion of works, with both onsite engagement and office base
- Take ownership of maintenance jobs from request through to completion,

ensuring no loss of visibility or momentum
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date job records and documentation
- Provide clear, timely, and proactive communication to support effective customer updates and expectation management

About You

You have experience within a property, facilities, strata, maintenance, construction, or asset management environment and understand the importance of balancing customer expectations, contractor performance, and operational priorities.

You are comfortable managing a high volume of maintenance requests, coordinating trades, following jobs through to completion, and communicating effectively with residents, caretaking teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.

You are proactive, highly organised, and take ownership of outcomes rather than simply passing tasks between parties.

You’ll Bring

- Previous experience in property management, strata/body corporate management, facilities management, maintenance coordination, construction coordination, defects coordination, caretaking operations, or a similar property-related field
- Strong understanding of maintenance workflows, contractor engagement, and job lifecycle management
- Experience coordinating works across multiple properties, facilities, buildings, or communities
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of competing maintenance activities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with contractors, onsite teams, residents, and stakeholders
- Confidence using systems and technology, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new platforms
