Community/Disability Support Worker
Our team seeks a compassionate, energetic support worker who enjoys helping people, the outdoors, and socialising. You will assist NDIS clients with daily outings, appointments, transport, and social support.
Responsibilities
Provide intensive, versatile, client‐focused support to improve physical and mental health.
Plan and support clients' activities and social outings.
Build connections with the community to help clients meet their goals.
Assist with daily living, domestic assistance, transport, and community outings.
Support both Community/Disability Support Work and Assistant in Nursing duties.
Be on‐call and travel to different areas as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Fluent in English.
Available to work on Mondays and other scheduled times.
Must hold a full Australian driver's licence, own a car, and have comprehensive car insurance.
NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Experience in manual handling, challenging behaviours, and other high‐care skills.
Previous experience in Disability Support or Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
