Our Visitor program aims to reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians. You can help by offering your time and talents to a gentleman in his home in Coombabah.
The role
If you can give up an hour of your time each week to visit with this gentleman in Coombabah, we'd love to hear from you. The gentleman is blind, has some hearing loss and uses a white stick and mobility is valuable. The visits can be relaxed and social – chatting about his interest areas of music (recording and playing) and enjoying social contact with visitors. We provide you with all the support you require. Visits on Tuesdays from 1 pm or Fridays mornings. Regular commitment.
Need to know
Online training must be undertaken. Must comply with any other WHS training if required.
