An established manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead site operations and drive performance across safety, quality, people, and production outcomes.

About the Role

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing activities and ensuring operational targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and consistently.

You will lead multiple functional teams across production and maintenance while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee development.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and service objectives
- Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all workplace standards
- Managing labour resources, workforce planning, and production scheduling
- Monitoring operational performance through KPIs and implementing corrective actions where requiredCollaborating with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to optimise plant performance




- Identifying and delivering continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, uptime, and productivity
- Developing frontline leadership capability and succession planning across the site
- Managing operational costs and supporting budget objectives
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing a diverse manufacturing workforce

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- 10+ years' experience in senior manufacturing management roles within a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to engage teams at all levels
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality systems
- Experience driving operational improvement and delivering measurable business outcomes
- Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with production planning, ERP systems, and performance reporting
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to influence and drive accountability
