- 6:30 am – 8:30 am Mon – Fri (Mornings)
- 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm Mon‑Fri (Afternoons)
- 6:30 am – 6:00 pm Mon – Fri (vacation care)
About the Role
The OOSH Educator is a member of the Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College Team. The role is primarily responsible for:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff, and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children
- Contribute to the educational program under the direction of the OSHC Coordinator/Educational Leader to provide a high‑quality program for all children
- Assist with the smooth running of the OSHC service in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures under the direction of the OSHC Coordinator/Nominated Supervisor

Essential Criteria
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Current Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification
- Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Accredited Child Protection Training
- Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Law Application Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations
Other Qualifications Considered
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
- Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA)
Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Out of School Hours Care/Vacation Care Service
- Previous experience in administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison
- Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
- Demonstrated knowledge of service’s requirements of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) system and ability to perform software application for compliance
