Job Description
Process and approve purchase requisitions in line with policy and delegated authority
Issue and manage purchase orders using Ci Anywhere
Ensure compliance with WA Local Government legislation and internal purchasing protocols
Assess and onboard recent suppliers, maintaining accurate supplier records
Maintain purchasing catalogues and reference materials
Monitor purchasing data integrity and system controls
Produce regular purchasing and compliance reports




Provide guidance and training to staff on purchasing systems and procedures
Support supplier performance monitoring and cost control initiatives
Assist in the development and improvement of purchasing policies and procedures
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchasing Officer should have:
Formal qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
Experience using TechOne ERP within purchasing
Experience in the public sector or a similar industry.
Knowledge of procurement policies, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in relevant procurement and supply chain management systems.
