About The Opportunity
We're seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a full‐time permanent role on a rotating shift roster.
12‐hour shifts; Day 6am‐6pm and Night 6pm‐6am.
Weekdays: 1–4 × Night shifts, 2–3 × Day shifts, 3 × Night shifts, 4 × Day shifts; Week 4 – no shifts.
Weekends and public holidays are paid at penalty rates.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
PLC troubleshooting on automated machinery.
Operating a production line to ensure minimal downtime.
Set up and fine tuning of machines for optimal productivity.
Work with high‐speed manufacturing equipment, understanding production demands.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
What You'll Bring
A Grade electrical licence and trade qualification.
Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in an automated manufacturing environment.
Willingness to operate a production line and work with production team.
PLC troubleshooting experience required with programming a bonus.
