DESCRIPTION:
Our client is seeking an Assistant Accountant Intern to join their team for a 3 month internship.
This role presents a fantastic chance for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience in the dynamic field of commercial real estate finance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Help analyse financial data and trends
Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance documents
Support accounts payable and receivable processes
Assist in reconciling bank statements and other accounts
Contribute to various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Currently pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Capable of working independently and collaboratively
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
