Join Downer's team as a Meter Reader and enjoy an active, walking, outdoor role.
You'll visit homes and businesses to collect utility meter readings (Gas, water, electricity), record data using a mobile device, and hit daily targets.

What We're Looking For
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Avalid driver's licenceand areliablevehicle
The ability towalk long distancesand work outdoors in all weather
Robust time management skills and reliability
Goodcustomer service skillsand friendly communication
The motivation to work safely, follow schedules and get the job done right the first time
Full training is provided, including how to use the device to find meters and enter readings.
