Cattle are sourced from a wide supply area, including the Northern Territory, north and north‐western Queensland and packed into the AMH brand, the most trusted name in beef.
The facility employs approximately 430 employees and processes approximately 900 head per day, operating 5 days/week.
About the Role
JBS Townsville is currently recruiting experienced Cold Stores Labourers to join the team in a full-time capacity.
About You
Hold a current forklift license, advantageous but not mandatory
Previous experience with manual handling, container loading and unloading,
cold storage and warehousing
Previous experience working in a temperature‐controlled workplace (chiller/freezer)
Previous experience with order picking and palletising advantageous
Previous experience with RF scanning advantageous
Willingness to participate in a well‐developed team environment from general labouring to highly skilled key positions
Willing to undergo a Q Fever vaccination
Have access to reliable transport to travel safely to and from work
