Aegis Shawford Lodge offers a broad range of accommodation and lifestyle options for 101 residents in three areas. Aegis Shawford is located on a quiet street, close to the Innaloo Westfield Shopping Centre and IKEA and is easily accessed from the Freeway.
About the Role
Organising kitchen staff in the preparation and serving of meals.
Preparing resident's meals according to dietary plans and menus developed.
Managing receipt of stores,



and food storage according to the relevant regulations.
Ensuring correct food handling techniques are always observed.
About You
Enjoys working with the elderly.
Can work independently and as part of a team.
Is able to supervise, organise and guide staff, to deliver high quality catering outcomes.
Has availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts over weekdays and weekends.
Can communicate effectively both verbally and written.
You should possess the following:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
Experience in food preparation and cooking for large number of people.
Aged Care experience (highly regarded).
A high level of food safety knowledge.
Full Australian working rights and able to pass national police clearance.
