A well-established Managed Service Provider based in Sydney, known for delivering high-quality, enterprise-grade IT and security solutions are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to join their team and to work directly on the largest enterprise account.
This is a highly visible role, with regular exposure to senior stakeholders and management, working alongside a strong, experienced engineering team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position.
You'll be the engineer actually configuring, migrating, and implementing changes across a large-scale network and security environment.
You'll take ownership of projects end-to-end, working autonomously while collaborating closely with senior engineers on more complex initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Hands-on configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting of firewall and network security infrastructure
Leading and executing network and firewall migrations
Producing high-quality technical documentation, change records,



and configuration standards
Managing change implementation through formal change control processes
Working directly with a large enterprise client, providing a high level of technical ownership and accountability
Collaborating with a senior engineering team on escalations and complex project work
About You
Strong, demonstrable experience with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) - this is essential
Proven background in enterprise network security engineering, ideally within an MSP or large corporate workplace
Solid experience delivering firewall and network migrations in live production settings
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and management
