Our client is a leading Perth based registered NDIS provider deeply committed to helping adults and children with disabilities live healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives through their care management.
They are currently seeking a capable and passionatePayroll Officerto join their team in Osborne Park on apermanentbasis.
Duties
Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining the database with updates/changes and employee records for recent hires, pay changes, and terminations.
Review timesheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll process and operations.
Ensure the timely processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll, including liabilities such as workers compensation, PAYG and superannuation payments.
Oversee calculating and processing of pay increases, back pays and termination payments.
Perform end of year processes.
Skills and Experience
Experience in payroll administration and the use of payroll software/systems.
Ability to process records quickly and accurately, with an awareness of the policy and legal implications.
Initiative and a willingness to learn.
Experience with Aurion Payroll would be advantageous but not essential.
Experience with SCHADS or Nursing Award would be highly desirable.
