Structural and/or Industrial Coating Supervisors

Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT) is seeking experienced Structural and/or Industrial Coating Supervisors to join our team and oversee structural maintenance and protective coating activities across site.

/n

About the Role

/n

Reporting to the Protective Coating & Structural Maintenance Superintendent, the Structural and/or Industrial Coating Supervisors will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising structural maintenance and protective coating works to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

/n

Key responsibilities include:

/n

/n

- Leading and supervising structural maintenance and protective coating teams.

/n

- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with site safety requirements, procedures, and standards.

/n

- Coordinating contractors and site personnel to achieve project objectives.

/n

- Monitoring quality, progress, and productivity of work activities.

/n

- Conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with relevant specifications and standards.

/n

- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.

/n

- Promoting a positive safety culture and leading by example.

About You

/n





To be successful in this role, you will possess:

/n

/n

- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within structural maintenance, protective coatings, industrial blasting and painting, or a related field.

/n

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

/n

- Experience working within heavy industry, mining, ports, resources, or construction environments.

/n

- A robust commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.

/n

- The ability to coordinate multiple work fronts and stakeholders effectively.

/n

- Sound planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

/n/n

Desirable

/n

/n

- Trade qualification relevant to structural maintenance or protective coatings.

/n

- Coating inspection qualifications or relevant industry certifications.

/n

- Experience managing contractor workforces.

/n

- Knowledge of asset integrity and maintenance management practices.

/n/n
