Job Description
IFS Project & Finance Consultant
/n
We are looking for genuine, hands‐on depth in both Finance and Projects, ideally built in a support or post‐go‐live environment rather than a one‐off implementation. To support our expansion plans, we are currently hiring an IFS Project & Finance Consultant to strengthen our team and embark on an exciting new journey with us.

What you'll be doing:
/n
/n
- Support and resolve IFS Finance cases across GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and lease accounting, Group consolidation, Tax reporting, Project Accounting, Business planning, and Cash Management.
/n
- Support and resolve IFS Projects module cases across project types, budgets, costing, and deliverables.
/n
- Configure and validate financial posting rules, voucher types, and period controls.
/n
- Manage end‐to‐end lifecycle for the project module, including project structures, phases, milestones, and cost elements.
/n
- Troubleshoot project actuals, WIP recognition, and revenue recognition issues.
/n
- Support CRIM configuration and the CRIM development workstream, including data setup and UAT coordination.
/n
- Troubleshoot erroneous postings, batch invoicing failures, and reconciliation discrepancies.
/n
- Assist with financial project data repairs and period‐end project close activities.
/n
- Assist with payroll extract and integration issues touching the finance layer.
/n
- Support workflow and financial automation queries.
/n
- Manage period‐end and year‐end close support activities.
/n
- Document case resolutions,
root‐cause analyses, and knowledge base articles.
/n
- Produce clear, professional client‐facing case updates and status communications.
/n
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and enhancement delivery.
/n/n
What we expect from you:
/n
/n
- 2+ years hands‐on IFS experience across BOTH Finance and Projects modules (implementation or support).
/n
- Foundation‐level or higher accounting qualification.
/n
- Strong working knowledge of IFS GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
/n
- Strong working knowledge of IFS project costing, budgeting, and deliverable management.
/n
- Demonstrated independent diagnosis and resolution of complex IFS configuration issues.
/n
- Customer/client support experience in a live, ticketed environment.
/n
- Excellent written English – client‐facing documentation is a core, daily requirement.
/n
- Based in Australia with unrestricted right to work; comfortable with a fully remote, occasionally travelling role.
