The Role
Excellent chance for training and development for a Trade Assistant to work as a part our IKAD Team.
Located in Henderson (no FIFO) you will be reporting to the the Project Supervisor to carry out the following duties;
Reporting to the Project Supervisor, your key duties will include;
Perform general hand and labouring duties.
Assist trades level employees directly with all aspects of work to be undertaken on a day to day basis.
Operate hand tools specifically grinders as required to undertake nominated tasks.
Maintain a clean and safe workshop, machinery and tools, ensuring all tools and equipment are used and stored safely and correctly.
Complete all paperwork and computer records accurately and as required.
Utilise all safety equipment, tools and machinery in accordance with processes.




Continually work with the team to engage in internal training provided to obtain the appropriate skills and experience to safely and competently perform and evolve with the role.
Assist trades level employees in the performance of fault/maintenance diagnostic, compiling test data for reporting, identifying abnormalities in test results, suspected non-conformance and solution finding.
Assist with the compilation of test data for reporting, identifying abnormalities in test results or any suspected non-conformance and solution finding.
Undertake any other duties, accountabilities and responsibilities as directed.
You
To be successful for the role of Trade Assistant you will need:
Previous Trade Assistant experience highly regarded;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Positive knowledge of power tools
Willingness to learn and be adaptable with duties;
Proven strong work ethic and reliability;
Willingness to work overtime;
Eagerness to learn and work with a small team with adaptability to various tasks required;
Forklift ticket, Dogman, Rigger ticket required (desirable)
Overhead Crane ticket (desirable)
White card (preferred or willing to get)
National Police Clearance within 3 months
