Our client is a well-established, mid-tier public practice firm based in Newcastle, currently seeking an experienced Client Advisor to join their growing Business Advisory team.
This is a genuine client-facing advisory role, working closely with Partners and acting as a key point of contact for a diverse portfolio of business clients ranging from SMEs through to large privately owned and multinational organisations across industries including mining, engineering, medical, R&D;, manufacturing and professional services.
The Client Advisor will be responsible for managing client relationships, reviewing the work of junior accountants, and supporting the delivery of high-quality tax compliance, financial reporting, and business advisory services.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being across all aspects of a client's business, including tax planning, structuring, and broader commercial advisory work, while also contributing to the development and mentoring of junior staff.

$130,000 – $140,000 + Super (depending on experience)
20% commission on client fees introduced

About You
4+ years' experience in Australian public practice
CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
Robust technical tax and accounting knowledge
Experience reviewing junior staff work and mentoring others
Experience working with SME through to larger corporate clients
Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
