We are looking for an experienced Project Office Manager to take ownership of audit, risk and governance across the Project Delivery team, ensuring strong delivery discipline and that projects are executed in line with business strategy and IT expectations.
Reporting into the Project Delivery function, you’ll oversee projects and enhancements to ensure delivery meets agreed standards, timelines and budgets. You will also manage governance, audit and risk activities through to resolution. You’ll ensure accountability across the delivery team and manage prioritisation, stakeholders, vendors and resource planning to support effective portfolio delivery.
This role is a 13-month fixed term contract and requires a full-time on-site presence, five days a week, to foster collaboration, strengthen team connections and ensure seamless support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Align IT delivery with business strategy
- Ensure delivery of projects and enhancements to agreed quality, time and cost
- Maintain and improve IT governance, including security, risk and audit management to closure
- Manage project prioritisation, demand and portfolio steering
- Manage stakeholders, vendors and contract performance
- Provide resource planning and reporting across projects and enhancements
About You
You are a strong communicator with well-developed stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to bring structure and clarity across competing priorities. You are highly organised, with a logical and analytical approach to problem solving and process improvement. Above all, you are comfortable working across complex, cross-functional environments, supporting change and ensuring delivery stays on track.
You will bring:
- A completed Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in IT alongside project management certification (PMP, PRINCE 2 or similar
- Experience delivering cross-functional projects from initiation to execution, with an emphasis on IT governance, audit and risk
- Robust stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
- Highly developed organisational and change management skills, with an emphasis on logical and analytical thinking
