We are seeking a Project Manager to join our Information Systems & Technology (IST) team based in our Perth Head Office. In this role, you will lead the delivery of technology projects that support the Greenbushes Lithium Operation, working collaboratively with business stakeholders, technical teams and external partners to deliver successful project outcomes.
About the Role
Reporting to the IST Enterprise Systems Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of technology projects across the Business.
You will manage projects through the full project lifecycle, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, quality, risks and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed while maintaining clear communication throughout each stage of delivery.
Responsibilities
- Leading the planning and delivery of technology projects from initiation through to completion
- Managing project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, issues and resources
- Coordinating project activities and ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders
- Building strong working relationships with project teams, business partners and stakeholders
- Supporting successful technology and application changes across the operation
- Simultaneously managing multiple projects within the IST project portfolio
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will be a Project Manager with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to deliver technology projects in a dynamic environment.
You will also demonstrate:
- Previous experience in project management or project coordination, preferably within mining or related industries
- Demonstrated experience delivering technology and application projects through the full project lifecycle
- Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leaders
- Robust organisation, planning and problem-solving skills
- The ability to adapt communication styles to suit different audiences
- Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills
- The ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities
- The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or Project Management certification (desirable)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems or a related discipline (desirable)
