Techforce is seeking experienced and skilled Plasterers to join our team.
The successful applicants will be responsible for carrying out plastering works across residential and commercial construction projects, including installation, repair and finishing of plasterboard and plaster surfaces.
Key responsibilities include:
- Measuring, cutting and installing plasterboard sheets and other wall and ceiling linings.
- Applying plaster, joint compounds and finishing materials to walls and ceilings to achieve smooth and level surfaces.
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, repairing defects and applying undercoats or sealants where required.
- Installing and repairing decorative plasterwork, cornices, mouldings and architectural finishes.
- Setting joints, sanding surfaces and preparing finished areas for painting or further construction works.
- Reading and interpreting plans, specifications and drawings to determine materials and installation requirements.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards and project requirements are met.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean and safe work setting.
Skills and experience required:
- Demonstrated experience working as a Plasterer.
- Ability to perform plasterboard installation, plaster application and finishing works.
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools and plastering equipment.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Relevant trade qualification in plastering or equivalent industry experience.
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $96,000 per annum + superannuation
