About The Role
Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a qualified Pipe Welder to join our fabrication team in Toowoomba on a full‑time, permanent 5/2 roster.
This is a great opportunity to join an established business delivering high‑quality project and maintenance services across a range of industries.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Perform fabrication and welding activities to required standards
- Ensure all work is completed in line with quality, safety and compliance requirements
- Follow LEAN and 5S principles to maintain an efficient and organized workspace
- Complete relevant documentation, permits and reporting requirements
- Collaborate effectively within a team to deliver high-quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Boilermaking (minimum requirement)
- Proven experience welding to piping and structural standards
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques (GTAW, FCAW, SMAW, GMAW)
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
- Experience working within quality assurance and testing environments
- Strong safety mindset with experience in permits, JSEAs and procedures
- Forklift license (desirable)
