The Team

Our Brisbane Construction and Infrastructure team specialises in complex projects across transport, water, mining, rail, ports, airports, education facilities and renewable energy, advising government, developers, contractors and financiers.

The Role

We are seeking a front‑end construction lawyer to work closely with partners and senior lawyers, providing practical, commercially focused advice to government and private‑sector clients on procurement, structuring and delivery of major infrastructure, energy and resources projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Drafting and negotiating sophisticated project agreements.
- Advising on procurement strategies, risk allocation and contract administration.
- Supporting clients through all stages of project delivery.

Qualifications

Applicants should be:

- Admitted lawyers with several years of post‑admission experience.




- Passionate about construction law and eager to develop a long‑term career in this field.
- Comfortable drafting and reviewing complex agreements, negotiating contract terms and providing commercially focused advice.
- Excellent communicators who can build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, working autonomously and within a cooperative, high‑performing team.
