Your New Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for a 6-week contract on a busy high-rise construction project in the Central Gold Coast. Operating primarily 5–15 tonne excavators, you will play a key role in supporting site preparation, excavation works, and civil construction activities while working closely with site supervisors and ground crews.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 5–15 tonne excavators safely and efficiently
- Carry out bulk and detailed excavation works
- Assist with trenching, backfilling, and site preparation
- Work alongside ground crews and other plant operators
- Complete daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
- Adhere to all site safety requirements and procedures
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Excavator ticket
- Construction White Card
- Minimum 12 months' experience operating excavators
- Experience working on civil, commercial, or high-rise construction projects
- Strong awareness of site safety and excavation practices
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
