Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our accommodation facilities and hospitality services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth motel operations, maintaining high guest service standards, coordinating with the adjoining restaurant operations, managing stock and suppliers, and supporting the efficient delivery of quality food and accommodation services to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the motel, including guest reservations, check-in and check-out procedures, room allocations, and front office activities to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Oversee housekeeping operations and property presentation, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and comfort.




• Coordinate with the adjoining restaurant operations to ensure patrons receive timely food service and that food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently maintained.
• Support smooth kitchen operations by monitoring stock requirements, coordinating food supply orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
• Supervise employees, prepare staff rosters, allocate daily duties, and provide guidance and support to maintain efficient operations and high customer service standards.
• Monitor guest feedback, manage enquiries and complaints professionally, and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Manage purchasing, inventory control, supplier relationships, and operational expenses to support cost-effective business operations.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, food safety standards, and other relevant hospitality and accommodation regulations.
• Coordinate general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of motel facilities to ensure a protected, comfortable, and well-presented environment for guests.
• Monitor operational performance,



identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, service quality, and overall business performance.
• Provide guests with information regarding local attractions, tourism opportunities, and travel services to improve their overall experience during their stay.

Qualifications:
• Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in motel, hotel, or hospitality management.

Skills & Experience
• Strong knowledge of accommodation operations, guest services, food and beverage management, and hospitality best practices.
• Sound understanding of Australian workplace health and safety, food safety, and liquor licensing requirements.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary hospitality team and manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
