Tax Accountant/ Tax Return Preparer - Bankstown Area, NSW

Long established small tax accounting practice. Providing expert service within the Profession for over fifty years and are conveniently located close to shopping centres and public transport. (No need to commute to the CBD)

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare personal tax returns and prepare small business tax returns for a portfolio of businesses and individual clients. Including preparation of necessary schedules.

Requirements & Responsibilities

- MUST HAVE CURRENT AUSTRALIAN TAX ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE EXPERIENCE.
- Be a qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3+ years hands on AUSTRALIAN tax accounting experience.
- Have experience with MYOB AE, MYOB & Xero CA, CPA, IPA would be advantageous.
- Be competent in the preparation of BAS and IAS paperwork.
- Have experience in small business trust and personal tax returns process would be highly beneficial.
- Be capable of taking jobs from start to finish and meeting deadlines.
- Be concise, have strong English communication skills, a qualified approach and the ability to work in a small team.
