Cutover Manager I Contract until March 2027 I Market Rates

Your new role

The Cutover Manager is accountable for planning, coordinating, and executing the end-to-end cutover activities required to transition a major Program from legacy systems to the current target state platforms (including Ellucian, Salesforce, MuleSoft, and downstream integrations) with minimal disruption to business operations. This role ensures that all technical, data, operational, and business readiness activities are aligned, rehearsed, governed, and executed in a controlled manner for Dress Rehearsals and Final Go-Live.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and managing the end-to-end Cutover Strategy and integrated Cutover Plan
- Coordinating data migration, reconciliation, integration sequencing, and business readiness activities
- Leading dress rehearsals and Go-Live planning across multiple delivery streams
- Establishing governance frameworks, Go/No-Go checkpoints, and Command Centre operating models
- Managing real-time issue triage, escalations, risks, and decision-making during cutover windows
- Coordinating vendors, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution
- Driving post-Go-Live activities, hypercare readiness,



and handover to BAU support teams

Key Selection Criteria

The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end preparatory activities to ensure a successful transition from our legacy Student Management System (Callista) to our new target platforms (Ellucian product suite, Salesforce, and MuleSoft), with critical integrations to our SAP environment and our Learning Management System.

- Experience: Proven track record leading complex enterprise Go-Lives and legacy-to-target transitions.
- Technical Scope: Experience coordinating data migration, complex integrations, and business readiness.
- Key Deliverables: Ability to build Cutover Strategies, detailed Runbooks, and establish Command Centre operating models.
- Environment: Experience with Ellucian, Salesforce, or MuleSoft.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership under pressure during time-critical, high-risk Go-Live windows.
