Take hold of a monster opportunity and join Australian Retirement Trust as our Marketing Specialist - Union. In this role, you'll lead the delivery of integrated marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen engagement, retention and growth across unions, employers and members. You'll collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, develop impactful campaigns and help amplify financial wellbeing programs for members through trusted union channels.

As a Marketing Specialist - Union, you'll play a key role in delivering end-to-end marketing and communication initiatives that support union delegates and members. Working within Brand, Marketing and Communications, you'll develop and execute integrated campaigns across digital, direct, content, events and partner channels to drive engagement, retention and growth.

You'll build strong relationships with union stakeholders, partners, and internal teams to create compelling campaigns that align with shared objectives. From sponsorships and events through to workplace activations and financial wellbeing programs, you'll ensure every interaction delivers value and strengthens Australian Retirement Trust's position as a trusted partner.

You'll also analyse campaign performance, identify opportunities through market and stakeholder insights, and optimise activities to improve outcomes across key audiences.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane , Sydney or Melbourne .

Responsibilities

Day to day, you'll:

- Plan and deliver end-to-end multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns that support union growth, engagement and retention.
- Partner with union stakeholders to co-create campaigns that drive member acquisition, retention and value.
- Develop integrated marketing initiatives that promote workplace outcomes and financial wellbeing programs.
- Create and manage campaign collateral,



toolkits and communication assets across digital and physical channels.
- Support sponsorships, partnerships and events to maximise engagement and brand presence.
- Develop executive communications that strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and amplify strategic priorities.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results and provide recommendations to optimise future activity.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, agencies and partner organisations.
- Contribute to annual marketing planning, reporting and governance activities.

Qualifications

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- You have experience delivering marketing campaigns within financial services or another regulated industry.
- Your background includes both B2B and B2C marketing environments.
- You'll bring demonstrated success developing and executing end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns
- You're confident using insights and data to inform recommendations and marketing decisions.
- You have strong stakeholder management skills and can build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Your experience includes budget management, forecasting and campaign performance reporting.
- You'll hold relevant qualifications in marketing, commerce or related discipline,



or equivalent professional experience.
- You're highly organised, self-motivated and able to contribute effectively within cross-functional teams.
- You have experience working with, or a strong understanding of, Australian unions.
