About the Role

Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Breakfast Supervisor will lead the daily breakfast operation in the Atrium Garden Restaurant and then transition to open and operate the Marine Lounge Bar during lunch.

This full‑time position is paid at HIGA Level 5, working five days per week from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. The successful candidate will be a confident, hands‑on supervisor who thrives in a high‑volume workplace and can effectively lead a team of approximately 8–10 team members.

Barista experience is essential. Previous buffet or hotel breakfast experience is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and open the Atrium Garden Restaurant for daily buffet breakfast service.
- Lead the breakfast team and ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming guest experience.
- Greet, check‑in and seat guests while responding to enquiries and requests.
- Prepare high‑quality barista coffee in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Monitor buffet presentation, cleanliness, replenishment and service standards throughout breakfast.
- Allocate duties, conduct team briefings and supervise 8–10 team members.
- Coach and train team members, maintaining a positive and productive working environment.
- Close breakfast and open Marine Lounge Bar for lunch service.
- Provide hands‑on food and beverage service in Marine Lounge Bar during lunch.
- Complete opening procedures, cash handling, reporting and other supervisory duties.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders and assist with inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, responsible service of alcohol, workplace health and safety, and hotel procedures.




- Manage guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
- Support the Food & Beverage Manager with payroll control, rostering, stock management and departmental administration as required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory or senior team‑member experience within a high‑volume restaurant, café or hotel environment. You will be organised, reliable, and confident working autonomously, with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for delivering excellent guest experiences.

Skills & Experience

- Energetic, motivated and efficient at multi‑tasking while working independently.
- Minimum 2 years F&B; experience.
- Beverage and barista experience is highly desirable.
- Capability to think out of the box with problem‑solving skills.
- Honest, punctual, reliable and physically fit.
- Able to work autonomously and within a team.
- Well groomed and professionally presentable.
- Revenue‑focused and cost‑control attentive, always seeking ways to improve turnover and reduce cost.
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating roster when required.
- Clear communicator – ability to speak, understand, read and write in English.
