The Cathedral School of St Anne & St James is seeking a caring, reliable and energetic Boarding Supervisor to join our Boarding team on a permanent part-time basis. This rewarding role supports the wellbeing, supervision and day-to-day routines of our boarding students, helping to create a safe, welcoming and supportive home-away-from-home environment.

The position offers between 25 and 32.5 hours per week during school term time, with shifts across mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and student activities. Live-in accommodation options may be available for suitable applicants; however, living on campus is not a requirement of the role.

Your Responsibilities

- Supervising and supporting boarding students during rostered morning, evening, night and weekend shifts
- Assisting with daily routines, study, meals, dormitory expectations and student wellbeing
- Supporting and participating in weekend activities, outings and other boarding events when rostered
- Communicating professionally with students, boarding staff, parents and school staff as required
- Helping maintain a safe, respectful and welcoming boarding environment

Located in Mundingburra, The Cathedral School is Townsville’s only Independent Anglican School for boys and girls from Early Childhood to Year 12. Our lush, tropical campus inspires creativity and lifelong learning.

All staff at Cathedral are expected to support the philosophies of the school, must either hold or be able to obtain a Blue Card and/or be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers. Applicants will be subjected to blue card screening, referee checks, identification verification, and will be required to disclose any information relevant to their eligibility to engage in activities involving children and young people.
