Archmap is an integrated Design+Build company delivering architecturally designed luxury homes, boutique apartment developments and high-quality residential projects across Victoria, Sydney and Queensland. As our construction team continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor or Senior Site Supervisor who takes ownership, thinks ahead and enjoys delivering exceptional projects.

We're looking for leaders who don't simply supervise what's happening today, they anticipate tomorrow, identify issues before they become problems and keep projects moving.

Appointments will be based on demonstrated capability, leadership and project experience, not simply job title or years of experience.

About the Role

Working closely with our Site Managers, Architects, Consultants and Construction Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for coordinating the day‑to‑day delivery of luxury residential and boutique apartment projects.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong planning, trade coordination, quality control and proactive problem‑solving.

You will be expected to take ownership of your site, maintain programme momentum and contribute to a positive, professional site culture.

While this is primarily a leadership role, you may be required from time to time to undertake practical on‑the‑tools work to support critical construction activities, maintain programme and assist the site team where operationally required.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating daily construction activities and subcontractors.

Managing short‑term construction programmes and trade sequencing.

Maintaining a rolling 2–4 week look‑ahead programme to ensure labour, materials, consultants and subcontractors are coordinated ahead of upcoming works.

Coordinating site logistics, deliveries and access.

Ensuring works comply with approved drawings, specifications,



the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.

Monitoring workmanship and maintaining exceptional quality control.

Coordinating consultants, RFIs, shop drawings and subcontractors.

Identifying construction risks, bottlenecks and buildability issues before they impact programme or quality.

Investigating issues thoroughly, identifying the underlying cause, evaluating practical solutions and making informed recommendations before escalating significant matters.

Maintaining Buildertrend project records, site documentation and reporting.

Monitoring Work Health & Safety compliance and maintaining a safe, organised and skilled site.

Responding appropriately to workplace incidents and emergencies in accordance with OH&S; procedures.

Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

Leading by example and creating a culture of accountability, professionalism and continuous improvement.

Assisting with practical site activities when operationally required.

Senior Site Supervisors will also mentor junior team members, resolve complex trade coordination issues and assist with programme recovery where required.

Qualifications

Relevant Building & Construction qualification or recognised trade background.

Current Construction White Card.

Current Victorian Driver Licence.

Strong knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC).

Sound understanding of Australian Standards.

Knowledge of Victorian building legislation and Work Health & Safety requirements.

Ability to confidently interpret architectural, structural and engineering documentation.

Strong planning, organisation and subcontractor coordination skills.

Experience coordinating consultants, RFIs and shop drawings.

Strong understanding of quality assurance and defect management.

Full unrestricted Australian working rights.

Highly Regarded

Current First Aid Certificate.

Working at Heights training.

Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence.

Builder registration or recognised trade qualification.

Experience using Buildertrend, Procore or similar construction management software.

Building Surveyor and Occupancy Permit coordination.
