Job Description

As our #AAA team continues to grow, we’re looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Taree region, depending on where you’re based – work close to home.

As an experienced clinician, you’ll bring your expertise to a supportive and team-oriented environment where you can make a meaningful impact in the lives of your participants, contribute to team development, and continue growing professionally.

Responsibilities

- Manage an allocated caseload (based on negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
- Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide evidence‑based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support participant outcomes
- Caseload will be tailored to your experience, interests and professional goals
- Support the growth and development of graduates and early‑career clinicians

Qualifications

- Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA
- Experience as an Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist beyond graduation




- Passionate about community‑based support for people with disability
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team workplace
- Desire to mentor graduates and early‑career clinicians
- Driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
